Caputo Nassetti has been involved in entrepreneurial activities in the photovoltaic, parking, and public lighting sectors using light-emitting diode (LED) technology.
After installing over 40 MW of photovoltaic systems for third parties, in 2010, Energia Solare Gigante S.r.l., Ferrara, installed four systems on the roof of the Il Gigante Shopping Center in Forlì, totaling 2.2 MW.
In 2013, together with other partners, Ottima S.r.l., Milan (www.ottimasrl.it), was established to market and install LED lamps for public lighting. Ottima Srl manages approximately 50,000 light fixtures in over thirty Italian municipalities. The company was sold at the end of 2022 to the international private equity fund Patrizia and merged into Civismart S.r.l.
In 2021, together with other partners, Ottima Parking S.r.l. was created, a company dedicated to parking management, and acquired one of the parking lots at Bologna Airport. In 2025, Ottima Parking S.r.l. became Infrastrutture Urbane S.r.l., Milan (www.infrastruttureurbane.it), a company dedicated to the purchase and/or management of parking lots and public lighting.
